Description of stainless steel sintered mesh round for filter plate 

 

The sintered wire mesh metal filter cloth is a porous metal plate made of a multi-layer stainless steel wire mesh and sintered into a metal plate. It usually consists of a 5-layer (or 6-8-layer) mesh: a protective mesh layer, a filtered mesh layer, a protected mesh layer, an enhanced mesh layer, and an enhanced mesh layer. Sintered filters with high mechanical strength and wide filter rating are new filtration fine materials for the food, beverage, water treatment, dust removal, pharmaceutical and polymer industries.

 

The material of the sintered wire mesh is generally stainless steel 304, SS316, SS316L, but metal or alloy materials such as alloy steel Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel can also be provided according to the customer's filtration process requirements. Sintered stainless steel filters are the most widely used of all materials because of their excellent chemical stability and long service life.

 

The protective mesh layer and the filter layer are fine stainless steel woven mesh, and the reinforcing mesh layer may be plain weave, Dutch braided wire or perforated metal plate.

 

The plain weave square woven mesh has good permeability and low fluidity. It can be designed as a combination of any number and square plain woven wire mesh layers to achieve specific flow and filtration characteristics. The filter is rated from 1 micron to 200 microns and has a maximum plate size of 1200 x 1500 mm.

 

Dutch woven sintered wire mesh panels have evenly spaced openings and stable gas permeability and have very high mechanical strength. They are commonly used for powder conveying, laboratory fluidized beds, dryers, coolers and other dry solid materials.

 

The perforated sintered web has a perforated metal as a reinforcing layer to support the sintered filter structure. Therefore, it has very high compression and mechanical strength. Perforated metal sintered filters are well used in oil wells where fine particles need to be filtered under extreme pressure conditions.

 

The sintered metal filter plates described above may form filter elements such as filter discs, filter cartridges, filter laminates, and filter tubes. Sintered filter elements are made from a mold by a high temperature sintering process to form filters of different shapes, such as filter baskets and cone filters, cup filters, lid filters and filter plates.

 

Sintered filter discs are available in round, oval, toroidal, split and monolithic shapes and can be dried and filtered at temperatures from -200 ° C to 600 ° C with filtration rates from 2 to 300 microns.

 

Sintered mesh laminates maintain stable filter ratings at high pressures and are easy to clean and reuse with a variety of filter cleaning techniques. It is widely used in the water treatment, liquid and gas filtration industries.
